That’s exactly why this De Ville Prestige “Tank” is so compelling.
At 31mm, the stainless steel case feels modern enough for daily wear, but its slim profile keeps things refined. No oversized lugs, no aggressive bezel, no unnecessary theatrics—just clean proportions that allow the dial to do the talking. And it absolutely does.
Omega simply calls this a silver dial, but it’s much much more – the design is more of like a semi-tapestry, shifting between silver and slate depending on the light. Paired with dagger hands and Breguet 6-9-12 numerals, it feels far more dynamic than your typical conservative dress watch.
Inside is Omega’s Caliber 2500 Co-Axial automatic movement, one of the brand’s most important modern calibers and an early adopter of George Daniels’ co-axial escapement technology. Reliable, slim, and historically significant—it’s exactly the kind of movement you want powering a daily dress watch.
