Let’s back up a bit here.. in the 1950s, scientists working in labs, power plants, or medical facilities faced a major headache – electromagnetic fields. We’re talking fields as low as 50 to 100 gauss, which causes a mechanical watch to be thrown off their timekeeping. So, it’s either you wear an inaccurate watch or you wouldn’t wear one at all.
That’s where the Milgauss comes in. Tested by none other than CERN—the European Organization for Nuclear Research—it was confirmed that the Milgauss could resist magnetic fields up to 1,000 gauss.
