2014 IWC Mark XVII Pilot's Watch

For decades, the formula remained largely unchanged: prioritize legibility above everything else. No unnecessary complications, just a highly functional watch designed to tell the time quickly and accurately.

This reference carries that forward beautifully.

The black dial is about as clean as modern sports watches get. Large Arabic numerals, altimeter-inspired vertical date display, and high-contrast hands create a dial that can be read instantly from virtually any angle. There isn't a single element here that doesn't serve a purpose.

While many pilot's watches have evolved into oversized statements, the Mark XVII remains refreshingly restrained. The 41mm case wears comfortably on nearly any wrist, making it one of the easiest sports watches to live with on a daily basis.
