Omega Seamaster Cosmic "Turler"

Back in the day, watch brands such as Omega did not have its own brick and mortar store in every corner of the globe. Brand presence was limited and the company heavily relied on its network of retailers. One of the retailers that carried Omega watches was Türler, a known jewelry boutique that had stores all over Europe. A Türler signature on an Omega watch gave it a stamp of approval, implying that these watches are of good quality. This consequently gave confidence to consumers to make a purchase which helped stimulate sales at the locality of each Türler store, and this simultaneously helped spread the Omega brand.

Today, double-signed dials are a thing of rarity, which makes them highly sought after by collectors. It's fascinating as well to think about: one fine day in 1968, a watch geek dropped by at his local Türler shop, saw this Seamaster Cosmic and made it his own.
